Hi - I just had a tummy tuck 3 days ago.in Connecticut...NOT INDIA. Unlike some of the people out there that think diet and exercise will just rid of your belly, there are some people that even doctors admit only a tummy tuck will help. I was one of them because I had twins 3 years ago, and my 5 foot 2 inch frame / belly was just stretched beyond repair. (AND I WAS AN AEROBICS TEACHER before having them!) So - don't listen to the people who say just diet and exercise. Ask your doctor if you are in fact a good candidate.
As far as the diet pills go...I would stop at least a month before. My doctor told me to stay away from the 3 G's : garlic, ginger, and ginko as supplements before my surgery because they have a tendency of thinning your blood too much. In fact, the only "safe" medicine I could take was regular Tylenol.NO ADVIL.NO IBUPROFEN. So, talk to your doctor about it. They will give you the best advice, and good luck! I hope your surgery goes as well as mine!
