If a girl has a misscarage while talking diet pills can she sue?

Question:
OK so this girl is pregnant and is taking a diet pill...i geuss trimspa..i think that is the chick one. Ok so she get's pregnant and doesn't know she is pregnant; so she keeps taking the pills. The pills don't state that she can have a miscarraige...well i think trimspa warns not to but for the sake of argument lets say they don't. SO anyway after she finds out she is pregnant about 2 weeks later she has a misscarraige. Can she sue, and if so should she. By the way when she finds out she is pregnant she emediatly stops taking the pills.

Answer:
I have to agree, i think that it had nothing to do with what the mother did, god just needed the baby, it was never ment ot be. I hope this isn't a real girl that feels like she did something...if it is assure her she did nothing wrong.
u can sue for anything now days
If the pills carry a warning about being taken while pregnant she has no case if she sues. Even though she did not know she was pregnant the lawyers will just argue that it was her own negligence in getting a proper check-up which made her keep taking the pills while pregnant.
I would say no. 1st trimester miscarriages are by no means rare. It happens a lot more than you think. I would assume she found out she was pregnant around weeks 4-6. They say that about 1 out of 3 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Usually a miscarriage that early has nothing to do with anything the mother but is rather a chromosomal abnormality and the baby aborted.
Nope, that's why they have warnings. Regardless of whether she knew she was pregnant or not.

This is the warning on the website for Trimspa, so no she can't sue because it does state clearly not to take while pregnant or nursing.
I agree that she does not have adequate legal grounds to sue.
Diet pills come with a printout from the pharmacist that warn the user not to engage in activity that could result in pregnancy which is either implied or direct. It is the responsibility of the user of the medication to act in a responsible way when taking medication.
I also agree that first-trimester spontaneous abortions (miscarriages) are common, probably 1 in three pregnancies, and I know of no way she could "prove" the medication was the source of the miscarriage.
She can try but most likely they will say that she should have known she was pregnant...or read the warning more clearly
Ummm how can she be sure that the diet pills caused it to begin with? Miscarraiges are common.
