Diet pills?
Question:
Answer:
Please do not try diet pills because they are not the long term answer and many can cause negative health effects. Consider a healthy lifestyle change.
Before you start a diet and exercise program see your doctor and read the the following article: http://teenadvice.about.com/cs/bodyimage...
The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:
*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity minus the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). A website that explains this formula in more detail and will help you determine how many calories you need to reach or maintain a certain weight is at http://www.primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/...
Get a diet and fitness calculator that you can put on your computer or cell phone. This will allow you to easily calculate the above formula, set goals, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.
Set realistic goals for your ideal body weight. Here are two websites that will calculate a suggested body weight:
Adults: http://www.halls.md/ideal-weight/body.ht...
Teens/Children: http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/exercise/w...
It is difficult and unhealthy to lose more than one or two pounds per week. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you eat 500 fewer calories per day for a week you will lose one pound. If you burn through exercise 500 more calories per day for a week you will lose one pound.
*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.
Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as potatoes) and drink lots of water. Read this article for more information on high GL Carbs:

Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Send me an email or yahoo instant message to "gainbetterhealth" if you want an indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have any questions.

You're an idiot and yes they will cause you problems. You'll be lucky if they don't cause a heart attack while you are young.
If you are worried about getting fat, stop be lazy and get off of your big *** and go out and do something,
exercise!
mmhmm. health problems in the future
yes they can be harmful. why you feel the need to take them i dont know. someone came in here talking about how their face became numb after taking them this is just one of the many side effects others can relate to kidney or liver damage
Probably. Yer too young to be taking diet pills, especially if you aren't over weight. Stop taking them.
Maybe you should ask your doctor to refer you to a nutritionist. It will help you control your weight, and keep you healthy too.all pills do is make you feel funky! I decided to go to a nutritionist, and I feel awesome! I lost like 6 pounds the first 3 weeks...and that was without working out! Then when I began working out, and following the nutritionists instructions, I have lost like 15 pounds and i'm all solid!
It does break down the hearts muscle,it makes your heart beat faster and cause damage, even a heart attack and it can also cause headaches.
I'm not a nutritionist, but seriously I would not take diet pills especially under the age of 21. Your body is still growing and before I normally take any sort of supplement I do research on it. But just to be safe, and since you are not overweight and so young, I would not take them anymore.
If you decide to take them still go online and do research on the pills. Just type in the name of the pills in a search engine and I'm sure you will find something.
Stop wasting your money! Quit worrying about your appearance. Focus more on eating healthy, well-balanced meals, and getting enough exercise. Diet pills tend to do more harm over time. Most contain some type of stimulant to speed up your digestive system. Basic exercise (walking, jogging, playing with the dogs, riding a bike) accomplishes the same thing.

Yes, they'll give you problems plenty. I'm working with a woman now whose heart is having problems because of them, she's had to have heart valves replaced and will have open heart surgery in 2 more months. All because of diet pills. They will affect you later.
Many of them just speed up your heart and make it work harder, and that's all some of them do. I once took some diet pills to my doctor years ago, and this is what she said about them. They make your heart work double time.
Taking diet pills are unhealthy enough, but to take them unnecessarily is even worse! If you are not overweight, don't risk it. At 16 your body is still growing and developing. What you need is to find healthy foods you like and eat fattening foods in moderation. And always do some form of exercise! Be it dancing, walking, running, workout tapes or hitting the gym. Dancing around in your room for 20 minutes is a great form of exercise. Don't pollute you body with things you don't need. Not to mention, it's a waste of money!!
Hope this helps.
Depends what it's made of.
Some of them are simply vitamin things that you eat to boost your metabolism...
