Your personal experience with diet pills?
Question:
I don't want to hear from people who have no idea, or who just want the 2 points and say "They're bad. Work out. Eat healthy. Etc..."
Serious answers only, please.
Answer:
Yohimbe fuel by Twinlabs, in moderation is the only thing I have found to do anything thats in anyway beneficial. Otherwise you're just buying a legalized form of speed which will give you really bad jitters. I recommend staying away from anything that has -ine attached to it, ephedrine, pseudoephedrine, etc... In the long run you can end up having a heart attack. Also if you can, stay away from guarana, yerba maca or any of its variants, and definetly stay away from anything that is synthetic or chemical based.
But the key word here is to do it in MODERATION. Also, I know you said you dont want to hear it, but you gotta trust me, and anyone who tells you to do this, but eat lots and lots of vegetables and drink at the very least 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. Unfortunatley the harsh reality is that there is and never has been a magic pill to help with weight loss. Almost all of them out there are basically a legalized form of speed with some coming with cayenne pepper extract. Contact and I can give you plenty of tips to losing weight that actually work and dont involve you going to the gym for 2-3 hours a day. One thing you really need to understand is that weight loss mainly has to do with will power, and maintaining a strong mind. Its a very disciplined thing that you have to do for yourself if you wanna keep the pounds off. Trust me, I'm speaking from nothing but experience.

Diet pills damage metabolism. Many took Vioxx pill for pain and are now dead BUT their heirs are winning millions in lawsuits. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic index and load. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way we have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad carbs and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Links page has gov. BMI calculater to find out just how much overweight you are. Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

they can help kick start you to lose a few lbs .give you motivation to continue on your own. diet pills aren't a cure and most are a fraud. i havent had but one pill help me and even after a while its affect disappeared.and i got those from my Dr. under his supervision. it takes more to lose the weight. i have fought my weight since i had my kids. i know what it takes to lose it and so do you. exercise and smaller portions..but that's not fast or easy or fun.eewwwww lol
but last year i had a scare. i was taking them and started having chest pains and couldn't hardly breathe. i don't think i will ever take a diet pill again. i was lucky. they can cause all kinds of health problems. death, heart attack & stroke to name the scarest of the list.
please becareful and good luck.
ECA stacks (ephedra/caffeine/aspirin) were the really popular ones a few years ago. They worked very well, but got a bad rap because occasionally someone would take 5x the recommended dose, chase it with red bull, and then run sprints in 100 degree heat.
Some fatburners are very effective, and they are safe as long as you aren't stupid with them.
I typically will use one about 20 weeks out of the year, and I usually will take half the recommended dose in the morning and that is it for the day(normally they'll have a dosage for morning + a dosage @ lunch). Keep in mind that the diet pills work, but you're wasting your money if you don't use them in combination with a good workout plan and clean diet.
The FDA banned ephedra for a couple of years but it is back on the market. It is a little tough to find, however.
An ephedra-free fatburner that I have tried is called Thermorexin; it is a caffeine/yohimbe stack and it works very well.
Again, if you are going to use them, use them in moderation, and if you have high blood pressure or any type of heart problem, forget them.
Hope this helps, if you have any other questions feel free to contact.
