The computer locks up after clicking End Program on Hidden Fax Window. I have to shut off power and cannot reboot. I don't use any fax program and don't know why Hidden Fax window comes up. Anyone know?

Isn't it strange when all this stuff happens and none of us know how to fix it even if we stay on it all day, glad that some people ask these kinds of questions so I can figure out what to do in case mine ever does this and I want to check out this MISCONFIG thing, but can't that wipe out stuff that you might need if you are not careful or don't know what you are doing? I would be careful I might call some kind of tech support?
go to start > type MSCONFIG > click on startup > remove the program name that says fax or see the program path and if its going to windows folder leave it, else see which program is it triggering and remove it from list. after applying, reboot your computer...
