Why would an end program for hidden fax window come up in reponse to ending non-responsive Internet Explorer?

Question: Why does the computer "lock up" after ending the non-responsive "hidden fax window"? I have never used a fax program, but found out that Windows XP does have a hidden fax window.

Click start >click run >type in msconfig click on the startup tab then uncheck everything there except your anti virus and internet connection . Click ok and your computer will restart .

1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.c... do that now .Update it (Latest updates 11-04-2007) and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode
