Internet become slowafter connect fax machine?

Question: may i know why my intrnet connection become slow and disconnect when i plug in fax machine ADSL SPLITTER. so wht can i do?

Answer:
Try a different splitter/filter, there should be one in every socket with piece of equipment connected, I have seen a few faulty filters.
