There are several companies on the web that can provide free to try trials and some that provide numbers for low cost fees each month. Here are a few that I recommend. www.eFax.com www.faxesanywhere.com and www.faxmicro.com all of these companies are good.
you need to have a regular phone line to do that. its basically the same phone number, but you hook it up to the computers modem, so you can fax from it.
I recommend efax.com. I have used it for over 2 years. I did hit a quota eventually and had to pay $99 per year, but the good part is that it comes into my email, so I can access the fax anyplace I can get my email, and I don't need any fax paper or a separate machine.
Well... there is this site.. http://www.yac.com . It used to give free fax no.s when i had used it. I donno whether it still does that or not.
