Are business cards mailable? (help, please!)?

How can I mail a business card if that is not allowed?
Anything that is regular first class mail will costs a First Class Stamp. That's basically all mail, unless it goes over a certain weight.
So for your business card, YES, you can mail them, but it costs a First Class Stamp. If you use anything less but a first class stamp, they will mail you your envelope back.
Depending on where you are, you may be able to get electronic postage and pay less. Basically, you print out postage on an envelope (based on weight), and when you send it, the postage printout has a barcode that tells the post office who to charge.
Then, at the end of the month (or week or whatever way you have it setup with the post office), they bill you for all the stuff you mailed during that period.
You can not mail just a business card, you can however attach them to a postcard and send them out that way. There are a few ways you can do it, you could staple them on the card or you can get some of that tacky stuff that they use when you get say a new credit card, it is kinda like clear sticky silly puddy, (look like snot really.lol) Or you could maybe use a low temp hot glue but that might alter the card. That is the cheapest way unless you have a bulk mailing account, and that costs money to set it up. Since they have raised the rates I don't know what the going rate is for a postcard but it is always cheaper than the letter rate. If you want to use an envelope you are going to pay the regular postage rate so you might as well create a nice letter explaining why you are sending your information and why they should keep your card and call you. That would look alot more professional and be a better use of your money because you would have to buy the postcards anyway so it might be about the same price but with the letter you will probably get better results.
