Buying Recycled Paper Business Cards?

Question:
I would like to know your personal opinion and thoughts about this scenario:

*You purchase printing regularly for you company and it's employees (business cards, brochures, posters, letterhead, etc...). You get a great rate for a great product. Then, the print shop you buy from starts offering recycled paper printing.

The catch is it is a higher price for a little bit of a difference in thickness of paper.
Examples:
-1000 - 14pt card stock (thick) full color business cards $39.95
-1000 - 9pt card stock (not as thick and recycled) full color business cards $59.95

Example of a brochure would be:
-5000 - 100# gloss text (nice thick glossy paper), full color brochures $450
-5000 - 80# recycled gloss text, full color brochures $695

How likely would you be to purchase the recycled printing?

and in your own mind - how many new or current customers would this new recycled paper attract?

Would love to see all types of answers

Answer:
I see a flaw in the whole system. Recycled paper shouldn't cost any more to manufacture...and printers who think people will pay nealy double for it are living 30 years ahead of their time.

People today do not yet have enough of a sense of urgency about the need to be "green" to pay double.they WOULD pay nearly the same price however.

Personally I would buy a 14 pt card every time because that is the product that will benefit my personal needs...a 9 pt card is flimsy, cheap which speaks volumes about its owner...which means I probably wont be doing business with them.

If recycled paper were only a few dollars higher...it would sell wonderfully.
