This is a wonderful old-fashioned gesture which is sure to be appreciated simply because not many companies bother to do it. Say what you really feel at the time: this, plus the fact that you have bothered to send the card in the first place, is most important. If you want a formal para composing, let me know: pleased to be of assistance! And do remember, hand-sign the card to preserve individuality: there is nothing worse than a facsimile signature. Ok.. Opinion here. Besides that, you need to say WHY you are saying thank you. IE "It was a pleasure to meet with you at blah blah blah. " that shows that you remember them. A general thank you note doesn't cut it and will probably wind up in the trash basket because people don't necessarily like kiss ups.
