Whats difference between a business card and a visiting card?
Question:
Answer:
The purpose of both is to carry the information as to how
to reach you.
The business card carries the information of that business
as to how to reach you on behalf of that business.
You may differentiate the visiting card in the sense that it
may carry your personal information so as how to reach you.
For example if someone is working as a freelancer, his/her
name card may be called a visiting card if he/she does not
represent a company. If someone is representing a company, then the name card may be termed as business
card. However for most of the people, it is all the same, if
you call it a business card or a visiting card. By the way,
some people also call it, name card. Good bye friend.
I've never heard of a visiting card, but I would imagine it's just like a business card only without a company name on it. Many people make this type of cards when looking for a job. It says your certifications/degrees, plus contact info.
Business cards often contain general info on the company and visiting cards contain info on the person working for that company.
