is this form of direct marketing effective? like going to the mall on a friday and saturday and passing out over 1500 business cards?
I would do it. We have found succes in this. Realize for every couple of hundred you might get one call. Most do end up in the trash but that one call could make it worth it.
It is wise to pass out business cards. Based on cost it is one of the best ways to get your name out and costs very little. As far as the mall be careful if they have a no soliciting policy.
Join a chamber or marketing group in your area.
The more connected you become the more opportunity you will have to get your business in front of people.
