First of all think of something that might like to people, something that haven't been seen a lot, then make some examples to show people you know and ask if they want to buy some, then keep on working designing changing and improving until you have the right idea, and go on.
It may be "cute" but remember by doing so you are limiting your clientelle. You would be far more successful to appeal to all races so you will ultimately sell more and make more money!! Good luck!
There iS a product out there (office depot, circut city) called "Print Master" it is a really cool thang, were you can make cards, buisness cards, posters, ect ect. Its only LIKE $10.00$ So Go check it OUT!! :-D
look up on ebay personalized invitations, announcements. it's the cheapest and best way to get more clients. list your service on craiglist.org. (it's free)
There is a company called SendOutCards which sends out the greeting cards for you. If you want to include your own themes on the cards this can be arranged.
