Is it legal to scan business cards from restaurants and post them on my Web site?

Question:
I would like to create a Web site to write my reviews of restaurants I visit. Usually restaurants have generic business cards with their coordinates and maybe a map to their location. I would like to know if it is legal to scan such cards and post them on my Web site.

Answer:
You'd be smart to get their written permission first. They might not own the map artwork and whoever created could sue you.
I would think so. Check out this site where you can sell business cards you gather.
