Can I play the latest Sims 2 Expansion Packs (like Open For Business) with my graphics card??

Question:
Mine is a Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family

If not, can you please tell me what I need to do to get my machine ready for such a game?

(More info: I already have The Sims 2 and the University Expansion Pack installed. I heard that Nightlife and Open For Business require better graphics cards, so I haven't bought them yet.)

Answer:
I'm not sure about the Intel Graphics set, but if the Sims 2 and University play on your computer, the rest of the expansions should as well.

The big drain for Sims 2 is not the graphics anyway, it's the processor and internal memory, especially with Nightlife. The game can run slow if you don't have at least 512K RAM, and even then it can be a bit slow. Getting a graphics card can alieviate it a little bit since the graphics will then be handled by the memory on the graphics card, but if you don't have at least 512K RAM, I'd upgrade that first.
I dont think they do after all an expansion pack just adds new items and options to a game not change the graphics.. just go to the store and pick up both boxes and see if they require the same graphics card. And if they do that answers your question ^_^
No you can't play it. It requires at least ATI Xpress 200 or NVidea GeForce 5300. It also requires at least 16 Mb video memory.
