I would like to print my own business cards on my computer, help please?
Question:
Answer:
You need a program to create them. Go to Best Buy or someplace similar and have a salesperson show you several different ones. Once you decide on the program decide what type of card stock you want to print on. There's plain, glossy and textured. Make sure your printer has high quality ink from the manufacturer (no generic stuff). Once you've designed your card and are ready to print the program will help you by asking what type of stock you have and will lay it out for you. Go to Print, print preview and make sure the layout matches your paper stock. Now go to Print, select your printer, and adjust the preferences using the highest resolution settings (usually photo) for the best quality cards. Now using PLAIN paper, print out a sheet and compare it to your card stock. If everthing matches up, load your stock and enjoy your new cards! Good Luck.
Go to Staples, they have cards you can put through your printer. They come in a box, be sure you buy the "business card" size.
Go to Officemax/Staples/Office Depot/Best Buy or any other office supply store and buy some business card stock... it will have templates and instructions for you.
Go to an Office Depot or Office Max and look for Avery brand business cards someplace with the mailing labes. You'll find the step-by-step instructions in the package. It is very simple and straight forward.
In addition to buying the business card forms at an office supply store, you should also be aware of the fact that Microsoft Works has the templates for many of the most popular brands already built in to the system to take the guess work out of margin setting. All you have to do is create your card. That's how I create my cards.
http://www.avery.com has some free software for creating buisness cards, its called "design pro 5 limited edition". Or microsoft works (or is it word) has templates if you have the full version.
