I know that the price can vary by location, the type of card & the detail to the cards. I would just like to know the approximate price range to have business cards printed. Either the approximate price per card or per set (about 50 cards). I know that someone could make them on the computer, but I know someone who has been buying their business cards from a local company & have asked me to make them some on the computer. They said they would pay me for my effort, since I would be using my ink, my card paper & my time. Since they're offering to pay, I'm willing to let them, I just want to know how much to charge them. I don't want to ask how much they paid for the others. If I can get an idea of how much they cost professionally, I can figure out how much I want to charge them. (I will probably do about about 1/2 the cost of professional). So if anyone could tell me the approx. cost of having business cards made, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

You can get free business cards from Vista Print. You just pay the shipping. They do charge for premium cards. However, these are pretty reasonable. www.vistaprint.com

I live in WA state and the place I get my business cards from charges me $80 per thousand cards, standard size with color.
Ask Kinko's how much they charge and decide if you want to charge more/the same/or less than. Good luck.
If you go to a print-shop, they won't make less than 500 and will
charge about 15 - 20 dollars depending on type and illustrations
on card involved.
