CS2 is the best choice according to CNET's review
Adobe Illustrator for sure because it's what advertising companies use. It's vector graphic is what gives it the edge compares to Photoshop.
If you have text to print and those text is what makes the printed things 'it' (say a business card is not a business card if it don't have a readable address and stuff), then Illustrator is the best choice.
InDesign is more on the book designing.

Adobe Illustrator cs2 because it has many photoshop filters in it, which allows your to create fancy effects, with the clarity of illustrator's vertor objects and fonts.
They say photoshop cs2 are vector fonts, but as long as you are gonna do offset printing, the fonts are gonna come out pixelated.
