Do i put "mba" after my name on a business card if educational background is important to my current position?

Question:
i have a master's of business admin. and i am a director of Information technology

Answer:
I put "member FDIC" after my name on my card.

MBA, never.

I worked at a place that had 250+ PhD's from MIT and Princeton. There was a network guy that put MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) after his name. He was the laughing stock of the company. Most of the PhD's didn't put anything after their names (even the guy with 3)
on a business card?? i'd say no, i have yet to see one that has something like that on it. I would put your name, numbers, address, and your title or position!
Yes. I do feel that for business reason it's very important to do so.
I've never seen anyone put "MBA" after their name on a biz card. The degree initials after your name are usually for degrees that are associated with a professional license (ex. MD, JD, MSW--all state-licensed positions).

Anyway, you COULD put MBA, but I personally think it would seem a little pretentious.
Hi, I'm in HR. No, is the answer. There are some credentials which go after your name. MBA is not one of them. It will make you look inexperienced and vain if you try it, since most employers will know that it's not the proper way to title yourself. Leave it in your "Education" portion of your resume, it will be impressive enough there. Good luck.
No. The most you can do is hang your Master's degree in your office.
